Bridal preparation checklist:
The purpose of a trial is for us to create and discuss custom looks for your special day. It occurs 2-3 months prior to your day done at your location. There is always room for change! Communication is key, so do not hesitate to express your opinions - it's your day!

Bridal Trial:

  • Set aside 2 hours: 1 hour for hair - 1 hour for makeup
  • Wear a top with a similar neckline and color of your gown
  • Clean dry hair:
    • do not use conditioner on the scalp
    • do not use a serum (a cream on the ends to tame frizz is fine)
  • Clean, moisturized skin
    • Using an exfoliant (or monthly facials) helps to remove superficial dead skin cells and impurities which also results in a smooth makeup application and glowing complexion. my fav: Elizabeth Grady Pore Refiner $28, grainy oatmeal texture that works really well!
  • Provide any hair/makeup pictures
  • Camera
  • Headpiece (veil-tiara)
  • Station for artist to setup with nearby access to an electrical outlet, mirror and natural or bright light.

Wedding Day: (bridesmaids too)

  • Get plenty of rest and water
  • Clean dry unconditioned hair
  • Clean, moisturized skin
  • Wear a button down, zippered or loose fitting top
  • Bring pictures from your trial
  • Station for artist(s) to setup with nearby access to an electrical outlet, mirror and natural or bright light
