Wedding planning can be hectic. But I’ll make sure your hair and makeup experience isn’t. From the moment we start our journey together - you’ll have all the information you need, when you need it (from timing, scheduling, how to prep, and more). In turn, this helps me bring out the best version of you. I take extra steps to make sure we nail your perfect look, from a questionnaire before your trial to the touch up kit on your wedding day.

As a licensed esthetician, I love educating brides about skincare because it’s the key to a flawless look. During your bridal preview, you’ll receive a skin consultation and a daily skincare routine customized for you. Many of my brides see such a positive transformation by their wedding day, that they continue their routines - even after their big day!

Can you accommodate large bridal parties?

What product brands do you use?
Absolutely! We have a team of experienced hair stylists and makeup artists. We can accommodate any bridal party size. (Team page coming soon)
Usually, for Massachusetts weddings, there is a five gal minimum of hair or makeup. However, elopements have become popular during the pandemic and one of my favorites. For weddings in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, there is an eight gal minimum of both hair and makeup.

Airbrush makeup is just another technique of applying foundation using an airbrush wand to lightly spray it on. It does not mean it lasts longer or photographs better. I personally feel airbrushing is suitable for someone with normal skin than someone with textured, oily or dehydrated skin. If this is something you would like to try, we can chat more.
We carry a wide range of high quality professional brands. As we are always adding different brands and a few (as there are plenty more) you may be familiar with are: Nars, MAC, Charolette Tilbury, Christian Dior, Makeup Forever, Temptu, Makeup by Mario.
How long will my makeup last?
The makeup will last until you are ready to take it off! The only thing that may not be as long lasting is the lipstick and you will receive a sample lip color.
When should I schedule my bridal Preview (aka trial)?
Bridal previews (aka trials) are scheduled 4-8 weeks prior to a wedding. I know it's exciting but I would not recommend scheduling one too far in advance as your hair and skin will not be the same. As I do take photos and notes of your look, it would be ideal to have you fresh in my mind scheduling this closer to your wedding.

Do you offer hair and Makeup for Engagement Sessions?
To ensure the highest level of service and attention to detail, hair and makeup for engagement sessions are only available exclusively to JLHM brides.

Jenny made the whole process very easy! She took the time to write down how to treat my hair and skin the weeks before the wedding and even the night before. I took every one of her suggestions, and on my wedding day everything was absolute perfection. My hair lasted all night, I even slept in it and after 48 hours looked amazing. My makeup looked wonderful, and I didn't need to touch up even after 12 hours. I can not say enough wonderful things. Highly recommend!
